In recent history and throughout millennia past there have always been fights and unsettlement around gender equality. Is the conflict and disparity between the sexes really about ‘equality’ and ‘gender’ – or is this just a setup that actually introduces inequality, and a distraction from the truth of who we all are equally within?
What if gender equality was recognising and honouring the great beauty, strength and power that each person can reflect and emanate, with total respect to the physicality of the body we are in?
Then the responsibility we can each bring to our unique expressions actually has little to do with gender and more to do with embracing our sensitivity and the quality of tenderness we can live and share together. Living these qualities brings us to harmony and oneness. There is in truth no fight when we look within, only the opportunity for deeper settlement.
