‘Serge's Books’, a review of Serge Benhayon’s books by Adrienne Ryan

It is as though what I read has been written just for me ...

Coming from a family of booksellers, I grew up and worked in the book business for most of my life. I was given unlimited access to all sorts of writing and can’t fathom how many books I have consumed in my time, let alone owned.

Today my library is very small, under 20 books: among them is a collection of purple covered volumes of varying thicknesses, written by Serge Benhayon of Universal Medicine.

‘Serge's Books’ have become treasures to me and an ongoing source of wonder because even though I have read them many times, each time I open one (at the beginning, or on a random page), it is like reading it for the first time.

These books, like no others I have read in my bibliophiled life, are multi-dimensional – like the Tardis in Doctor Who they seem like a normal book on the outside, but step into them and you are in a Hall of Wisdom so enormous it has neither beginning nor end.

It is as though what I read has been written just for me: the more I come to know these beloved Books, the more I realise it is they that know me!

If someone asked me today, what book would you want to have with you if you were marooned on a desert island, the answer would be 'Serge's Books' – and the only challenge would be in choosing which one!
