Welcome to our first newsletter for 2019.

Typically at this time of year we make a list of things we would like to achieve in the coming year. And whilst setting goals and planning for the year is important, we can often get caught up in the 'what we need to do' without considering the 'how we do it'; and by this we mean the quality of energy in which we do something.

Many of us can get caught up in 'must get this job done as I said I was going to do it' and at the end of it, we can be left feeling depleted and often exhausted. What if we looked at the quality of energy of how we do things and the effect that has on our bodies?

This newsletter is dedicated to this – an invitation to explore the quality in which we live our lives.

Asking us what if we made it about quality first, the quality we are in when we do things, the quality we would like to live – are we pushing ourselves, are we rough and hard or do we move with a gentleness and grace which is more akin to our natural way of being?

Self-Care: The quality in which we move

As young children we move in a very natural, fluid and joyful way. We live from one moment to the next, living in the present moment. We are not preoccupied by thoughts throughout the day.

These qualities, and our ability to move in this way, never leave us. Although as adults we rarely move in this quality. But we can re-ignite and change our movements in any moment if we so choose.

"Simply becoming aware of how we walk, the way we get in and out of our car, walk up the stairs or close doors. Are we slamming, jarring or rough, or do we move gently with a feeling of grace?"



Women in Livingness Workshop 17th February 2019

We are delighted to announce our next Women in Livingness workshop, to be held on Sunday 17 February 2019 in Brisbane, Australia.

The workshop will be presented by Esoteric Women's Health founder Natalie Benhayon, with the theme "From Empowerment to Power".

Women in Livingness workshops are an open forum that offer the space to explore the current issues that are impacting women's health and well-being, and to re-establish a way of living that supports the development of true well-being.

Well-being for Women are regular presentations held throughout the world that can support us to restore a level of vitality, well-being and zest for life that many of us struggle to feel amidst the demands, pressures and expectations of daily life.

Esoteric Yoga offers the opportunity to truly stop, and come back to you and the quality of energy in your body. Each class helps us to realise that we can choose to bring a harmonious quality into our everyday movements, and that the quality we bring to our movements determines how we feel and the level of well-being we experience.

Classes can be done online at a time that suits you, also offered are group classes, private sessions, and classes for the workplace.

Green Bean Mash

A great alternative to potato mash, colourful and tasty; serve as a side dish or as a brilliant dipping snack for kids.

Beetroot, lime and coriander salad

Sweet and earthy beetroot salad with zingy and aromatic flavours. Simply yummy, adding a richness to any meal or delicious on its own.

Almond, orange and sesame energy balls

These delicious energy balls are super nutritious, packed with protein and a tasty alternative sweet snack; but beware they are super moreish!
