Esoteric Women's Health Newsletter October 2018

Welcome to our October 2018 newsletter, where we explore the theme of Health from Within – a founding principle of Esoteric Women's Health.

In a world where roles and expectations on women are many, such as being a good mother, daughter, partner, good worker and student, leading a successful career, and acquiring the perfect body to name but a few, we have lost sight of our inner-most connection to who we truly are as women, and consequently, such roles and societal expectations can end up being what define us.

Esoteric Women’s Health is dedicated in offering services, events and products that provide the space to return to living in ways that honour the true beauty within women. From this foundation, self-caring lifestyle choices can be made and sustained which offer the opportunity to restore true health and well-being for women.

In this month's newsletter we offer various articles, videos and more to support with an understanding of what living Health from Within truly means, and how we can live this in our lives.

"Within the women is the rhythm of life. She, being who she really is, holds the key to the world's balance."

What is Health from Within?

The philosophy of Health from Within is that our inner-most essence is our true and defining marker for all we women to know our own best health, our well-being and our healing plan. This inner-most essence which resides within every woman (and man), is what restores true love and care to the body.

Living Health from Within embraces the fact that true health permeates every aspect of our lives – how we are at work and home, in our relationships, with our family, in our social circles, and with our bodies. The essence looks at our life as one whole – not separated into different parts.

This becomes a revolutionary concept – to shift away from 'health' being an exercise in ticking the boxes of eating healthily, checking for breast lumps, and exercising regularly. True health is far deeper than this, and with the rising statistics of chronic and acute diseases that are affecting woman globally, we need more.

Put simply – our definition of health needs to change. It needs to encompass all aspects of our lives. This is a key principle of living Health from Within.

"When life is lived from the Essence of who you truly are, health and well-being are no longer tick-box goals or achievements, but a way of life that is all-encompassing of every part of you."

Natalie Benhayon

This month's feature practitioner is Natalie Benhayon, founder of Esoteric Women's Health. Here Natalie speaks about the true meaning of Health from Within

"To return to the essence of your whole body, as all children naturally are, and not just the governance from your mind, is in itself an enrichment that is well worth taking, whatever steps are required to do so."

Serge Benhayon An Open Letter to Humanity, ed 1

Health from Within

At a recent Well-being for Women presentation in Sydney, the question was asked: “What is health?”

Where does one begin with answering this question? After all, there are so many aspects, concepts, interpretations, and studies to consider.

"We put so much emphasis on looking healthy but does that actually mean we are healthy? Why are we masquerading as healthy on the outside when there’s perhaps a whole other storyline going on, on the inside?”

Trends and a Woman's Body – can they go together?

Is it possible that the majority of trends we see in our world are constantly distracting us from connecting to and honouring what we know is the truth of our own bodies?

"Do these trends re-connect us to who we truly are, that is, do they foster our approach to restore our ‘Health From Within’, or do they take us away from this innate essence, and by that disconnection, into a state that is more harming than healing?”

Living with Connection

Perhaps the key to health is not entirely about our physicality and or mental health, but it is how we are with our body/mind – strictly speaking, the quality in which we approach what we do – that is equally, if not more important.

"The livingness is our way to heal – the way we conduct the physical body through the day, in all that we do, is the greatest form of healing, or it can be the cause of all our harm."

Women and Expression: a renewed perspective on thyroid disease

Right now, there is an unprecedented and historical global epidemic of thyroid disease, the majority of which is occurring in women.

Is there something about the way we are living as women that may be leading to this?

"Is the stress-thyroid link, in truth, a fundamental breakdown whereby we do not embrace the true inner ‘essence’ in one’s life and purpose and instead let life swallow us up?"

Living Health from Within

We asked some women, 'What does Health from Within mean to you?'

The stories that are shared here are real stories, written by everyday women sharing everyday practical ways that they live to honour and support themselves.

"It can be a process to peel back the layers we have all used to cover this innate connection, but the changes that come from slowly, and with no perfection, de-layering and building this connection are profound."

We live in our in our bodies 24/7 but how much of that do we actually check in and connect with our bodies? We often override our bodies and the wisdom that they share until we are 'forced to' to listen to our body through sickness, disease or often an injury.

Esoteric Yoga is a very practical and simple way to build connection to yourself.

The purpose of Esoteric Yoga is to return us to our natural way of living in connection with our body, our movements, our expression, our feelings and what is happening within us. In today’s modern world, with our often fast paced, complicated and stressful lives, Esoteric Yoga reminds us that there is a way to live in connection with our body and our inner stillness. This inner stillness supports us to remain calm, steady and aware.

Esoteric Yoga supports us to develop a deeply caring relationship with ourselves. There are many programs available including online or in person classes, specialised sleep programs, programs incorporating connective tissue movement, and others.

Esoteric Yoga classes are available:

  • online,
  • in person
  • in private
  • and in the workplace

There are many therapies that help to support deepening the connection to yourself – you can visit the Esoteric Practitioner's Association website to find a practitioner in your area.

The Esoteric Practitioners Association (EPA) is an accrediting body for practitioners of Universal Medicine Therapies, which offer healing and complementary support to conventional treatments. They are not 'alternative' or 'new age' and nor are they anti-western medicine. They are in fact very pro and thus respectful of western medicine and its great service to society, and this philosophy to treat the whole in union with all parts is at the fore of every EPA member's way of practice. The therapies are very gentle and work with the being and its body to assist in its own healing. The range of modalities on offer cover many aspects of healing and include massage, chakra-puncture, sacred esoteric healing, esoteric connective tissue therapy and more.
