The Gentle Breath Meditation: it’s so simple

I love the Gentle Breath Meditation, yet I never would have thought that something so simple would be so effective. If I’m feeling out of sorts or I just want to quieten my mind, I take a couple of minutes and breathe gently.
I don’t need to sit cross-legged and face the sun, it’s portable and I can even use it during a conversation if someone is edgy. Best of all it helps me to feel lovely and calm so life flows more easily.

The Gentle Breath Meditation is very easy to learn and do. It is wonderfully simple and straightforward and I find that I can do it anywhere and anytime. And contrary to my previous experiences with various meditation techniques, I find that I actually do want to do it and not run a mile.
It helps me to keep steady and to come back to myself, especially when I have felt racy and tense. It makes me feel tender and whole and I have also watched how it brings my heart rate back into the target range when I am using the cross walker at the gym.
