The typefaces and font sizes used on the site are styled automatically as part of the site design. There is still room to choose some different formats to provide structure and rhythm to your page.

Sub Heading

This is an Example Sub Heading

To use this style, format your text like this:

This is an Example Sub Heading

---

TIP: Make headings meaningful. They should summarise what is being said. If used with restraint they can provide anchor points for a reader to understand and navigate what is being presented.

Paragraph

This is a standard paragraph of text. How is it that I went from the beautiful, confident little girl I was to an adult woman who checks herself in the mirror to confirm she is “ok” by how she looks, or waits to be told she looks good or beautiful and is left feeling plain without it? So what other beliefs had I been running with?

TIP: Paragraph is the default style and requires no extra information.

Indented Paragraph

This is an indented paragraph of text. How is it that I went from the beautiful, confident little girl I was to an adult woman who checks herself in the mirror to confirm she is “ok” by how she looks, or waits to be told she looks good or beautiful and is left feeling plain without it? So what other beliefs had I been running with?

To use this style, open your article in the 'Edit' view. Now hover over the pink boxes icon in the toolbar. Select 'Indented Paragraph' from the list. This will insert some code like this:

This is a standard paragraph of text.

TIP: The Indented Paragraph style brings extra attention to a statement, by adding space on the sides. It can also be used an an additional way to show case longer quotes.

Centred Statement

This is what a centred statement looks like.

To use this style, format your text like this:

>< This is a what a centred statement looks like.

TIP: This style is specifically for highlighting short statements or phrases. Unlike the rest of the page it aligns the text centrally drawing extra attention to what is being said. It's best to keep these statements short and succinct to make the most of this technique.

TIP: Bold is also the default style of links, so be careful not to confuse people when you use this style.

Underlined Text

This is normal. This bit will be underlined

To use this style, format your text like this: This bit will be underlined</u

TIP: Its best not to use underlines where possible. They typically suggest that the item is a link and people can get confused.
