Insisting we know better than our bodies

Insisting we know better than our bodies
Carnivore diets, nicotine patches for pain, micro-dosing hallucinogenics – the human will stop at nothing to try the next quick fix – to look better and feel better without having to put in any discipline or focus, only pop another pill, mix another protein drink, consume things you said you’d never touch.
Oh how we hand our bodies over to any cure, not willing to look at what’s really going on, what’s really being communicated and above all – what part we must play in taking true responsibility for the steps we’ve taken to get ourselves to this point. What have we ignored and dismissed, how have we numbed ourselves until we can no longer feel what we truly are and the power within? Anything to remedy the dis-ease we feel, anything to quell the internal unrest, please just make it stop so I don’t have to feel – feel what is happening in my body and what is happening worldwide, in my everyday interactions, in the news, in my relationships.
We would rather use our bodies as lab rats to test every new phenomenon promising the answer to all our problems, only calling in delay and avoidance, as our bodies never give up on us and never stop communicating. We insist that we know best, that we can fix it.
Not many can deny the beauty and purity of a newborn – yet, as the days, months and years go by, we ingest anything and everything to numb ourselves, insisting that we’re just fine, until our body can no longer cope. Until we can no longer digest what life is offering us. Do we need to wait for these stop moments to drop the insistence that we are beyond any consequences? Or do we look within, to the beauty of the body that never stops communicating?
The Ageless Wisdom calls us to resurrect, restore and reinstate our innate knowing, to drop all pretences, persistence and insistence that we are anything but divine.
"We must let go of all those belief systems and values that feed the mind into believing what we are told rather than knowing what is truth from the impulses that live within the inner-most of every being."
Serge Benhayon Esoteric & Exoteric Philosophy, ed 1, p 203
We can rationalise anything, wrapping up devastation in a pretty pink bow and abusing the beauty of our body and how it carries us through this life, or we can begin to look within, as we are already complete.
