Serge Benhayon and education

Serge Benhayon's approach to education is one of deep care and love for students and teachers alike. Serge presents that true education should be deeply valued by all and should support the student to have the foundations for a successful life and not simply a successful mind. He acknowledges and praises highly those within the education system that hold a genuine love of teaching, and working with our young, however he also understands that teachers and students alike are often limited and not supported by the demands of the current systems that are in place.

Our current system of education is creating stress and exhaustion within our teachers as well as our students. So who is truly benefitting from this system and what needs to change for it to truly support and educate those within it?

The current education mold follows an approach that aims to educate or fill minds with certain information. But does it truly support or prepare those within it for a deeply loving, dedicated and fulfilling way of life?

"Yes, universities give out degrees and PhDs for notions, philosophies, ideals and beliefs that separate humankind to the point that war can be justified by such knowledge. And, it’s all ok, good and acceptable in the name of education ... a type of education that is considered intelligent, intelligent until it is measured by the Truth of Love as known and impulsed by one’s Soul."

Serge Benhayon Esoteric Teachings and Revelations, p 36

"THE GREAT PROBLEM IS THIS – we have given so much power and credence to our intellect that we have forgotten that we are love before we are intelligence or the fact that love and intelligence should be one and the same and not the latter without the former, that is, we must not give power to our minds at the expense of whom we truly are in our inner-hearts."

Serge Benhayon Esoteric and Exoteric Philosophy, p 225

Serge Benhayon often presents the benefits that could be experienced if we were to bring love, understanding and true care into our education system for both teachers and students. True care and love in education could bring about a supportive way of education for all types of people in a way in which the current linear education system has not yet been able to.

Serge Benhayon presents about the fact that if we truly met our young children when starting school, connected to them deeply and did not simply try to push them through the current education mold, who knows what they would be capable of learning and expressing?

True intelligence comes from the inner-heart, the essence that is naturally within all human beings regardless of age, gender or culture. If this is the case, then one can see that the little gems of wisdom often expressed by our very young when given the opportunity, are just as needed as the current topics covered in today’s education systems.

"The best and truest mind will always come from the inner-heart."

Serge Benhayon Esoteric and Exoteric Philosophy, p 296
