Understanding human nature

For the past twenty years I have been studying and working in the field of mental health, i.e. counselling, psychotherapy & psychology . At the same time I have been a student of Universal Medicine, a modern day transmission of the Ageless Wisdom as presented by Serge Benhayon .

As best I can, I live by the principles of energetic integrity and responsibility which are intrinsic to our religious way of life – The Way of The Livingness – a deeply loving and joyful commitment to being in the world and in relationships that continually inspires greater love and acceptance of myself and all others equally. Through his teachings, but also having personally known and observed him for 16 years, Serge Benhayon has opened up my eyes and my heart to a profound and all-encompassing understanding of human nature, in terms of why we think and behave the way we do.

What greater gift could there be than to understand human nature, and why we are living so far removed from the grandness which each and every one of us knows resides within us? I work mainly offering counselling to young adults, and increasingly nowadays I can feel when they first walk through the door how lost they are . . . the world does not make sense to them. In fact, most of my older adult clients also come in a state of either anxiousness, despair or giving up. I used to be part of this statistic, and as a teenager through to early adulthood I experienced major lows to the point of considering taking my own life as it felt pointless and I did not feel I belonged in the world as I observed it to be. Since meeting Serge Benhayon, I have gradually reconciled this inner anguish and now embrace life in full. I have gained an awareness of the energetic laws that govern every aspect of human life.

This is a body of divine teachings that has been passed down to us by an unbroken lineage, now re-introduced to us by Serge Benhayon.

Throughout history there have been those who have sought to destroy or eradicate those teachings and the individuals or groups that have lived the simplicity of them, because they ultimately empower us all to live our full potential rather than be submissive to the control of the governing authorities of the time.

To capture the essence of these teachings in brief is not possible, because the principles have to be lived to be deeply appreciated in their purity of love and truth. However, I can share that Serge Benhayon has brought to us the answers to our global health and mental health crises, as an obedient servant to the divine wisdom and lineage he is a part of. He also reflects to us what living in love and truth looks like in business, family, relationships and many other areas of life. None of my other trainings and qualifications have offered a clear and indisputable explanation regarding the origins of our dis-ease, but rather within the field I work there is often a sense of bewilderment and disempowerment due to not knowing why mental health conditions are increasing so dramatically.

In my work I am deeply appreciative on a daily basis for the awareness I have developed over the years of studying and learning with Universal Medicine. What I find transformational in the sessions I offer is that, with every single client, it is possible to connect to the beautiful essence that is inextinguishable inside them: to meet another at that level and nothing less is truly healing. But I am also acutely aware of the choices we can all make that reduce our beauty and divine qualities, that we settle for a lesser version of ourselves which then leads to discontentment and eventually illness and disease. When we withdraw from life and contract within ourselves we are handing our bodies and our minds over to what is not who we innately truly are, thus commencing a painful process of separation to the point where we feel lost to ourselves. By understanding this in myself I can support others to find their way back to their own sense of who they truly are.

The teachings of Serge Benhayon have brought me home to myself and the truth I knew as a child – that there is so much more to us than what we have allowed ourselves to become. And so I now offer my clients an opportunity to reconnect to the grandness within them too, thereby passing on the gift that has been graciously and lovingly bestowed upon me over the past 16 years.

I find people fascinating, and love discovering how uniquely amazing we all are. Spending time surrounded by trees gives me perspective, as does looking up at the stars.
