Apollonius of Tyana
Apollonius of Tyana
The Ageless Wisdom is indeed just that – Ageless. However, when one scrolls as far back as Pythagoras (circa 460 BC) one reaches one of the most ancient of the recorded lives of The Lineage of The Ageless Wisdom .
Pythagoras was one of the rare appearances in human form with regard to what is possible if we embody the universality of our One Soul. The word ‘rare’ here does not suggest that it is a case of the exceptional while making clear that it is not the common; very few of an otherwise we all should be the circumstance given that we are all from the One Soul. That we are not all equally rich with illimitable universal wisdom is the uncommon and not the other way around.
The story of Pythagoras is pivotal to the life of Apollonius –
More than five centuries after the passing of Pythagoras, Apollonius, from about the age of 16 years old, became a philosopher and then teacher to many people, including notable leaders of that era. He presented and lived the teachings of Pythagoras. In other words, Apollonius was a key member of The Hierarchy and a standout philosopher and teacher of the era. Everything he did or presented was for the enrichment of all. A phenomenal soulful imprint, over a vast region and during a long life, especially by life expectancies of those times.
Similar to Pythagoras, Apollonius forever presented that his wisdom was not learnt or based on knowledge. He lived in a way, that is available to all humans, so that he was able to access universal wisdom. It would have been his version of ‘The Way of The Livingness’, back then, the Pythagorean way, which was foundational to his access.
The radius of Apollonius’ reach was more than human – his was a vast, unseen impulse for humanity. His reputation travelled before him and, bearing in mind the limited means of communications and transport at the time of his life, this vibrational radius of radiance was how representatives of The Hierarchy were able to connect with all. His was true Godliness in action.
Born in Tyana (modern day Kemerhisar, Turkey), Apollonius travelled extensively, visiting Babylon, India, Syria, Asia Minor, Greece, Rome, Spain, and North Africa. Indeed, a phenomenal footprint, literally, by foot.
As a traveling philosopher he was noted for visiting temples, instructing priests, and performing miracles during his journeys. Wherever he went, a following constellated and he had a large following of disciples in many towns and cities.
He was lauded as a God. Yet he would say that all men were Godlike. This is one of the fundamental teachings of The Ageless Wisdom – we are all in equivalence to God, yet unfortunately, with very few exceptions, we choose to live in a reduced state of humankind, seldom living our true Godlike design.
To live as the likes of Apollonius, Pythagoras and the modern-day Serge Benhayon is to maximise the design of human form and thereby to truly represent universal man.
Apollonius was the representation of Christ energy – which meant he was the impulse of the universe, the impulse of God and therefore the impulse of all that is love, true wisdom, intelligence and energetic integrity.
Apollonius was a philosopher, an astrologer, a sage, a seer, an alchemist (a transferer from ruining devious into the light-footedness of celestial might) and was often referred to as a healer of great poise and outcome. He is reported to have worked many miracles. He cherished the design of the human body and thereby, through nourishing that vehicle and maintaining its vitality, was able to access the wisdom of the universe. No different to all of us – except that Apollonius, by fully embodying the teachings of The Ageless Wisdom, was able to receive and respond to the always available wisdom of the universe.
He lived frugally, was a vegetarian and promoted only light nourishment so as to support vitality and vibrancy, avoided wine, remained celibate, did not partake in animal sacrifices common for those times, practised ritual purity and lived soulfully. Foundationally, he taught, as did Pythagoras, that the spirit reincarnates until purified – the path of the initiates.
Always humble, Apollonius nevertheless had great presence and authority. Whether it was at the court of a king, an emperor, a governor or simply connecting with citizens – he called out the ways of creation, never holding back, using every opportunity to teach the way forth, based on the philosophies of Pythagoras.
Leaders in positions of power and influence sought out the advisory services of Apollonius. Prominent relationships included Vardan 1 – the King of Babylon, the Indo-Parthian King Phraortes as well as Roman Emperors Vespasian, Titus, Domitian and Nerva. His wise counsel about affairs of state was in regular demand.
The Empress Julia Domna was so impressed, she commissioned the biography of Apollonius (by Philostratus). Emperor Alexander Severus commissioned a statue of Apollonius in his chapel. Emperor Aurelian spoke of Apollonius admonishing him and exhorting Aurelian to spare the citizens of Tyana.
And like most of the lineage of The Ageless Wisdom he was defamed. The forces of evil sharply and relentlessly focus on such high initiates, as is evident in modern day times.
In short, Apollonius was a significant and influential persona during his life of approximately one hundred years.
In contrast to many philosophers before him, he was on friendly, constructive and advisory terms with most leaders that met him. Only the tyrannical emperor Domitian felt threatened and, for a short stint, had Apollonius locked up on trumped up charges relating to magic, conspiracy and treason. History does not clearly explain how it could be that Apollonius, facing what seemed like certain death consequent to the defamations, was able to walk free from the faux-Domitian-trial other than by way of the constellated hand of God.
Whilst comparisons with Jesus are ludicrous as both Jesus and Apollonius were both standout sages, philosophers, teachers and representatives of The Ageless Wisdom, it is interesting to gauge how, from around the period of Constantine, the profile of Apollonius went from being a great and celebrated sage, to being reduced to simply a speck of history that today is hardly spoken of and forms little to no part of main stream religions. Through the ages, history is set and written without regard for the energetic truth by the governors or the victors of wars and so it seems the story of Apollonius has been profoundly and purposefully diminished.
Yet Apollonius, along with others, is foundational to the teachings of The Ageless Wisdom.
God would never design or deign what are the regulations, rules, customs and impositions of humankind’s manipulated, abusive, reductive and corrupting ways of creation which can only be the work of puppet-humans who facilitate forces to counter the beyond magnificent God-design of planet earth. Everything – this planet, the oceans, the land, the human form are all God-designed and God-made. Yet God’s Co-creation has been abused, reduced, reconstructed with lies and then heinously claimed to be the truth and governed as ‘the way’, when what is, has become ungodliness to the extreme.
Mainly under the control and fear of government and faux religions for the past two millennia, humanity has created a dense, foul swamp of human-lived-ways out of what should otherwise be Soulful, Godlike and magnificent designs. It was the work of Pythagoras, Yeshua, Apollonius and present-day Serge Benhayon (and other lineage teachers and philosophers) to return humankind to God’s Co-created ways.
Interestingly, Yeshua was derided and then crucified at the early age of 33 years by directive of the Roman Governor Pontius Pilate, whilst Apollonius was revered and consulted by a number of the emperors, kings and leaders during his long life.
Yet both Yeshua and Apollonius served the same purpose – The externalisation of The Hierarchy and of The Ageless Wisdom. They both lived and represented the equivalent of The Livingness and The Way of The Livingness.
Apollonius lived three times longer than was Yeshua’s life. During his extensive travels he attracted vast crowds. His reputation travelled ahead of him. Like Yeshua, his role maximised ‘foreground’ by way of face-to-face connections with everyday life. They, teachers both, radiated alchemy and magnetic pull, serving all, wherever they went.
Apollonius was also very much in ‘background’ thereby foundational to the design and multidimensional representation of the Christ Energy – his backgrounding was by way of energetic (unseen) soundwaves, a radius of illimitable reach and thereby an influence that was immense and multidimensional.
All the great lineage representatives of The Ageless Wisdom are more so presenters of background than foreground. Or said another way, they present soulful and atmic intelligence, being the path of applied wisdom, radiated in an unseen way that could yet be profoundly felt by those who were ready to initiate and for whom there is a call. The substance of Apollonius, brought forth from his prior lives, was inspiring, motivating, teaching and unfolding support for the human populus.
Apollonius was able to withstand the immense forces working against him. It was his massive presence, his forever responsiveness to the divine calls and his divine flow of celestial intimacy in humbleness that differentiated Apollonius. The magnetic pull, the vibration, the atma of Apollonius enriched all.
Modern commentators, even including some mouthpieces of Christianity and The Theosophical Society, have commented on the possibility (or impossibility) that Apollonius was the reincarnation of Yeshua. Indeed, it is rare to find two such prominent characters of the lineage of The Ageless Wisdom in such close back-to-back incarnations. Reincarnation or not, that debate matters not – what matters is that the great work of Yeshua was cut short by the Government of Rome and the work of the century-long life of Apollonius was able to springboard the Yeshua-foregrounding of The Ageless Wisdom teachings to a very wide geographic footprint of many people over Apollonius’ long life.
At the same time as the early life of Apollonius, Peter and Magdalena were imprinting The Ageless Wisdom in faraway lands of Italy, Spain and France, giving genesis to The Cathar movement of The Ageless Wisdom. Ultimately, that Cathar movement significantly became the subject of the holocaust at the directive of Pope Innocent the Third whereby this pope oversaw the victimisation, beyond description torture and ultimately the extermination of many hundreds of thousands of Ageless Wisdom initiates – another horror story that governors have ensured is kept at the lowest profile as possible.
The vast expansion of The Ageless Wisdom under the representations by Peter, Magdalena, Apollonius and Yeshua of those times was ultimately ruthlessly suppressed by the marauding pope-directed-forces.
It would have been clear to the leadership of Rome that what the legacy of Apollonius was bringing was a challenge to the corrupt and self-serving Roman Senate and leadership of this then mighty Roman empire. It would have been deeply challenging for Rome to adopt the philosophies of The Ageless Wisdom and The Livingness ways of Apollonius.
Hence the pivot by the notorious emperor Constantine to focus the story of Christianity on Yeshua’s too-soon-truncated life, to maximise the conflict upon the Jewish people and to refute all Pagan ways, that ultimately brought the world into a conflict that is still very much dividing humanity today and that is the cause of so much unsettlement and the premature and often awful deaths of billions of humans. Apollonius represented pagan energy. But not what that word has been denigrated to mean since the Constantine propagandists manipulated, then converted it to become.
Constantine and his cronies, in order to boost their own conflicting purpose, damned all matters ‘pagan’ and belittled the true meaning of paganism.
Here, in the pagan ways, was a lived way of most people of that era and many centuries before.
Pagan is always to mean an energy and is never human. In the same way that the word ‘Christ’ is first and foremost about energy. Pagan energy is love, wisdom, and intelligence and cannot be reduced by evil no matter how deep the propaganda and punishments by association are inflicted on the paganists.
Apollonius, Pythagoras-pagan-imbued, presented, authored, and embodied everything that was love, wisdom and intelligence.
Pagan energy supported the divinely designed human forms with responsivity to the divine particles of the body, to the cycles of nature and to the cycles of the universe. Paganism is a divine re-awakening to the factor of being much more than human and to the realms of multidimensionality.
Pagan energy impressed vital and evolved living ways of unconditional togetherness.
Rome and all who stood for it, had no chance of living true paganism or what is today earthed as The Way of The Livingness. A stretch too far for what it had succumbed to. As such, Apollonius could not be Rome’s chosen one.
"Pagan energy is the divine order of particles. For earth there is a specific design of and from this science because of the vibrational density involved."
Serge Benhayon May 2024
And so, it was inevitable – the true stories about characters like Apollonius, Peter, and Magdalena, centuries later, had to be manipulated, slighted, shifted to the shadows and in some cases ultimately suppressed from history, when in truth, they had played crucial and central roles that, if adopted, maximised and expanded, would have made for a wholly and holy different world today.
However, the ruthless Emperor Constantine (a reign that included murdering his wife and son) was one who would retain power at whatever the cost. He recognised the danger to the powers-that-be in Rome if the living ways of Apollonius were to become the model for Rome’s leadership and then for the Roman populus. It was going to be impossibly challenging for Rome to live, teach and govern according to the integrity and lived ways of Apollonius, that had in its foundation the teachings and lived ways of Pythagoras. Too many comforts would have to be jettisoned, control by fear, regulation, rules and Parabalani-equivalent militant squads would have to be removed. The notorious and insidious political agendas of Rome with all the murders, gaslighting and much else toxic would have to be cleansed from Rome’s lived ways. The Livingness of Pythagoras, Apollonius and in broader terms, the teachings of The Ageless Wisdom could not be shoehorned into the seriously toxic Roman ungodly culture. To base a religion on Apollonius posed too many threats to the ruling class, indeed already comprising a select club of Roman elites. The Apollonius stories were too extensively documented to manipulate without the repercussions of the masses.
‘The body is the marker of truth.’ - Serge Benhayon. Apollonius lived and embodied a way of life as close to the God-design as could humanly be. He lived the marker of Soulful Godliness.
What would humanity look like today if Apollonius’ teachings and experiences, that were also the impulse of Pythagoras and all matters Godly, had prevailed? If the work of Peter and Magdalena and the Cathar movement had prevailed? What would have been if human life had, back then, adopted The Way of The Livingness as the way to live God’s Design? A design embodied and lived by the likes of Pythagoras, Yeshua, Apollonius and Serge Benhayon, each of whom focused/focus on universal enrichment and unifying worldliness.
