Crispy snow peas

Simple, light and nutritious, these crispy snow peas are great as a vegetable side or lunch box treat, with or without a dip.

SERVES: 4 PREP TIME: 0 mins COOK TIME: 10 mins


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 500g snow peas


  1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
  2. Add the snow peas, leaving enough room for each one to lie flat.
  3. Once one side is crispy, turn and crisp the other side.
  4. For the snow peas to be their crispiest best, eat the same day.

Inspirations and top tips

  • Replace snow peas with green beans or sugar snap peas
  • You can use garlic or chilli oil instead of the olive oil.
