New Year’s Day – January 1st
"If your mind is able to allow you to smoke cigarettes, take drugs and drink alcohol, whom does the mind really belong to if you then consider that the body has to suffer the consequences of those ill choices?"
Serge Benhayon Esoteric Teachings & Revelations, p 573
On New Year’s Day many people wake up hungover and feeling bloated from celebrating the New Year and as a result decide to give up things such as alcohol, chocolate, drugs and many others for the month of January to give their body a chance to recover.
We often make New Year’s resolutions however, despite good intentions, our resolve never seems to last very long. If we listened to what our body has to say about how these substances effect it, we might consider giving them up for good.
This audio presents what is behind the notion that ‘alcohol is good for us’ when we know that our body tells us otherwise.
Who likes alcohol, marijuana and chocolate?
Have you ever wondered why so many of us not only consume substances that harm our bodies, but also champion them and encourage our friends to do likewise?
"On the subject of drugs that alter our actual state of being, and in particular the legalised drug known as alcohol -- why do we perceive a mind/physiology altering drink to be of any good? Could it be that so many are so deeply unhappy that they need to alter how they feel so as to avoid feeling the truth of their way of life?
Serge Benhayon Esoteric Teachings & Revelations, p 354
Consider this revelation, for it reveals why so many defend the ridiculous with their status."
