Healthy lifestyle – how you live day-to-day matters!

When we think of healthy lifestyle we usually think food and exercise and when we think about healthy lifestyle and weight loss, we think calorie restriction and intensive exercise.

What if food and exercise are not the ‘solution’ to our weight loss woes?

What if the most important part of a healthy lifestyle is how we approach all the things we do in a day and is actually more about the quality that we do things in, than the things we do?

What quality do you want to build in your body? You can build a quality that is based upon a deeper connection to yourself – a quality of tenderness and gentleness that we build in our daily living, from how we shower ourselves, to how we get into our cars, to how we eat and put ourselves to bed. All these actions can be done gently and tenderly.

If we develop this quality in our bodies our choices are more likely to reflect this. Consider the difference between the food you might choose in a rushed and careless state, to the choice you might make if you had been developing a quality of gentleness and tenderness through your day.

Being connected to yourself is the starting point of a truly healthy lifestyle – from there it is possible for you to make different choices. If you work towards building a certain quality of tenderness and gentleness every day, your choices may reflect that quality.

Knowing yourself by your quality first

The importance of knowing the quality we hold within ourselves first and always moving from and with that quality.

Everything comes back to building the right quality. Simply consider the choice to eat an apple or a chocolate bar – is it possible that if you are connected with yourself and have been caring of yourself all day, then the apple is the natural choice?

If we focus on building a connection with ourselves and building a quality in everything we do, we may find certain foods no longer appeal to us – even the way we want to exercise may change. Some foods support us in making a connection to ourselves, others can be harming to that connection. We can make this a constant exploration.

"Always remember that – the results of your choices will lead to the energetic state of being that then allows the quality of the next choices that will be made. And so, this is how it is built and this is how it will all return to the one-unified-truth – the fact that we are all ONE-LOVE. May you choose in love, with love, and thus from your inner-most."
